Long-Term Care & Hospice/End-of-Life Care
Unfortunately, not everyone is able to return home due to progressive diseases or advanced age. In these circumstances, Sherwood is committed to improving the quality of life for each resident for as long as possible. Our staff are trained to help each resident keep as much independence as possible for as long as they are able but to assist and encourage along the way.

Dietary
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” Was said by Hippocrates and is a principle believed in and practiced at Sherwood. One of the main aspects of healing and health is nutritional intake. Our dietary department focuses on providing healthy yet tasty meals for our residents, created in house largely from scratch ingredients. Our kitchen is managed by a certified dietary manager and overseen by a registered dietitian. Working together with the medical staff, each resident’s weight and nutritional needs are assessed and monitored regularly. Therapeutic diets are available to those who require them.
